Follow along with me around Encinitas, to some of the best fitness studios and classes, from morning to nightcap. What is it like to wake up in this magical little beach town and participate in local fitness classes? This is what we endeavor to find out.

I just happen to believe you shouldn't have to travel far to find a good fitness class. Here at the Encinitas Community Park is the locations for a great, refresching outdoor bootcamp called PHITgroup. It is a casual 8:15 start, which is just what I need that early in the morning. 1 hour later, I have gone through several circuits of creative and fun exercises with lots of different materials, and I am invigorated for the day. I linger a bit and talk to some of the locals in the fresh morning air. Then I shower and eat breakfast at Philz coffee shop, which boasts of some seriously leaded coffee and the best sourdough toast with avo, egg and some spice sprinkled on it that makes it out of this world delicious!
11:00 A.M.
I teach a Pilates class.
1:00 P.M.
Off to the Boxing to teach Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinsons Patients. Today I have invited a MELT teacher to join our class to introduce what foamrolling can do for your muscles and flexibility. I visited her class last week and was so impressed with her knowledge and the relaxation of foam rolling.

I am driving over to San Diego Botanical Gardens to check out a location for holding yoga classes outdoors overlooking the ocean and nestled under some beautiful native California plants.
6:00 P.M.
Heading out to the beach for a relaxing beach yoga class. Watching the sunset and breathing in the healing refreshing ocean air. After class, our teacher offers up a glass of locally brewed Cambuca and we chat about the beauty of the nature and take a moment to sit back and chill.
